A BelSU student participated in international youth forum «Eurasia Global»

The international forum «Eurasia Global» under the auspices of UNESCO was held in Orenburg and gathered 500 participants from 50 countries. The forum was opened by the welcome speeches on behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov who addressed to the participants. There were various activities organized for the forum participants in the theme areas – “Communities”, “International Cooperation”, “Sustainable Projects” and “Creative Economics”. Sadzhid shared his impressions of participating in round tables, discussion platforms, trainings and master-classes where shared his experience of work at the international fellow-students associations based at BelSU Centre for Intercultural Communication. The student noted that at the moment he is preparing an application for the contest by the A.M. Gorchakov Foundation for Public Diplomacy Support.

According to the Director of the Centre for Intercultural Communication Elena Nazarenko attracting international students to participate in major international forums and festivals is an important and perspective area of work done by the Centre.

“Learning about successful practiced of implementing various projects, immersion in the atmosphere of creativity ensure favorable conditions for multicultural communication and provide for extra motivation for fruitful student government”, remarks Elena.
