NRU BelSU representatives participated in the Russian-German online conference

The conference “Russian-German Dialogue in Research and Education: creating future together” was held online. The German speakers worked in the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Science. As for the Russian participants, the venue was MISIS. The conference brought together German and Russian scientific and educational organizations including German House of Science and Innovations and Russian Academy of Science. NRU BelSU was represented by the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Andrey Peressypkin and some staff of the relevant departments. The participants visited virtual booths where Russian and German universities, research organizations and foundations demonstrated their work fields. The conference participants could also view the presentation of Belgorod State University as well as projects of REC “Innovative Solutions in Agribusiness” where NRU BelSU performs the role of an integrating organization.

Talking about the importance of such discussion platforms, Andrey Peressypkin, noted that both parties expressed deep interested in development of international contacts and search of partners.

“We got acquainted with the presentations of most German participants and will definitely work on fostering international contacts and collaboration that will be a great benefit for Belgorod Research and Education Centre, the university and the region in general. Belgorod REC has already achieved the first serious results, so involvement of German researchers and business interested in scientific developments in agricultural complex will be of high importance for us”, remarked Andrey Peressypkin.
