Successful start of a research career

This admission number for the doctoral program is considered to be the most productive and demonstrates high demand by the perspective students. Among the enrollees are the citizens of Belgorod region and other regions of Russia, near and far-abroad countries.

According to the Director of Department for Research and Academic Personnel Training and Attestation Irina Shumakova this year over half of the doctoral programs enrollees (163) are fee-paying students.

“Fifty international students from 21 countries were enrolled for the doctoral programs”, noted Irina Shumakova.

The most popular are such fields of study as Clinical and Fundamental Medicine, Law, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Linguistics and Literature Studies, Education and Pedagogical Sciences.

NRU BelSU avails state-of-the-art facilities for research work in various fields as well as for participating in scholarships and grant programs. There are 22 Dissertation Councils at the university including 18 BelSU Councils entitled to confer higher degrees by the university. So Belgorod State University provide the doctoral students with the relevant conditions to conduct their research, defend dissertations and successful career as a young scholar.
