BelSU Law Institute enhanced its laboratory facilities

The laboratory facilities of Law Institute are regularly enhanced for the purpose of practice oriented education. The new academic year began with opening a specialized classroom – testing range “Papilon” and application of the versatile reproduction machine “Papilon-ExpertLab” during the first class at Criminalistics Laboratory. The machine provides for shooting pictures of macro- and micro-objects and the damage traces on their surfaces for further casual analysis.

The Papilon System “Zhivoy Scanner” ensures a high quality dactylographic personality registration, producing dactylographic electronic dactocards of the defined shape and provides for the unified fingerprints database.

The Head of the Division of Forensic Science and Criminalistics Natalia Zhukova is assured that the study of criminalistics and other legal subjects is impossible without practical classes. The fifth-year student in Forensic Science Vladislav Marandykin demonstrated the new equipment performance in his traffic accident analysis.
