Challenges of pre-university education on the agenda

The program of the congress which was held in Moscow included the forum “Russian Language Education in Multilingual World: Russian and International Experience”, all-Russian research and practice conference, research and practice seminar and round tables that covered different aspects of Russian language education including training via videoconferencing at the pre-university level.

The congress was attended by Elena Nazarenko, the vice Head of BelSU Preparatory Faculty, Associate Professor of the Division of Russian Language, Oral Professional and Intercultural Communication. In her report entitled “Tutorship Impact on the Level of Students’ Adaptation at A Preparatory Faculty” presented at the round table “Specific Educational Policy and Extra-Curricular Work in Modern University Aimed at Decrease of Social Unrest in Student Community” Elena Nazarenko attracted the colleagues’ attention to the process of international students’ academic adaptation as a very complicated, dynamic and multilateral process of adjustment to the specific education organization in Russian universities, new forms and methods of teaching.
