NRU BelSU retain its presence in the subject ratings by Times Higher Education

NRU BelSU retained its presence in two subject ratings – Engineering Sciences (group 401-500) and Physical Sciences (group 801-1000).

This year the number of the universities represented in the subject ratings has increased. Thus, 1149 universities were listed in Physical Sciences that is by 126 universities more than in the previous year, and the list of the rated universities in Engineering Sciences increased by 118 participants making it 1098 universities in the total in the finals. This fact stands for the increasing competition among participating universities running for the position in the subject ratings.

The list of Russian universities participating in the subject ratings has considerably extended: this year 42 participants were registered for the rating in Engineering Sciences (compared to 34 last year). NRU BelSU shares positions 7-8 with the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Two universities were listed in TOP-200 at the same time: Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (position 126-150) and Bauman Moscow State Technical University (position 151-175).

The rating in Physics Sciences includes 42 Russian universities (compared to 33 last year). This year already 3 universities entered TOP-100: MIPT (position 47), Lomonosov MSU (position 81) and MEPhI (position 98). NRU BelSU entered the group of 21-33 (801-1000 in the world). The same group includes another 10 Russian universities.
