A scientific conference on dentistry was launched at Belgorod State University

The conference “Dentistry of Slavic States” as the element of life-long learning is considered to be one of the biggest events among the Belgorod dentists. It is organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Belgorod region Department of Health and Social Welfare, NRU BelSU, Belgorod regional voluntary society “Dentistry Association” and supported by the Dentistry Association of Russia.

The conference brought together heads of dentistry faculties at Russian universities, leading experts in dentistry and students making in total over 600 registered participants from various regions of Russia, Donetsk National Republic and Belarus.

Professor Aleksander Tsimbalistov, the Head of the Dentistry Track addressed the conference participants with a word of greeting and wished them to have fruitful work.

“This year the conference will be dedicated to the problems with endodontic treatment – the most important area in dentistry,” noted Aleksander Tsimbalistov.

The sequence of the conference activities was opened by Dmitriy Nikolayev, the dental therapist of ООО “MAN Dental Clinic” from Bryansk. He conducted a lecture on Endodonic Treatment and Restoration of Lateral Teeth Group, Isolation Basics”.

As part of the conference face-to-face lectures and practical classes, seminars and master-classes will be conducted by the leading experts in dentistry as well as a plenary session via videoconferencing.

The conference will be followed by publishing a collection of scientific works by the eminent dentists.
