Being included in the program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education BelSU researchers outlined the perspectives of development of the World-Class REC “Innovative Solutions in Agri-Business”
Talking about the experience and development prospects of Belgorod REC the Head of the Research and Production Platform “Selection and Genetic Research, Cellular Technologies and Gene Engineering (in Crop Growing)” Ekaterina Zhuravleva pointed out the importance of the well-structured REC management system consisting of essential elements including Supervisory Board and Governing Board, Project Office and 5 Research and Production Platforms.
The Director of BelSU Engineering Centre Ivan Nikulin moderated the debates on New Materials and Engineering Methods where he also shared his experience of solving the problem of utilization of industrial gypsum containing waste. During the panel discussion on advanced digital, intelligent production technologies, robotic systems the Head of BelSU Division of Information and Robotic Systems Professor Olga Ivashuk made a report on System of Intelligent Machine Vision for Priority Data Acquisition and Processing in Beef Production Management. The report of Vladislav Soldatov, a junior research assistant of Scientific Research Institute on Pharmacology of Living Systems was dedicated to the problems of personalized medicine.
Following the panel discussions the “Open Innovations” forum participants and guests had an opportunity to get acquainted with the BelSU developments presented at the exhibition display of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
