NRU BelSU entered the prime league of the new aggregated university rating

The Guild of Experts in Professional Education launched a new Russian platform for evaluating rating activity by universities worldwide – Aggregator of Independent Higher Education Evaluation (www.best-edu.ru). It represents a network for evaluation of the higher education quality by external sources.

According to the expert evaluation Belgorod State University was listed among 4% of the top universities worldwide (the top 1000 universities) and occupied the 20^th position out of 82 Russian universities entering the Russian Prime League that consists of 25 national universities. As for the subject areas, BelSU entered “Materials Technologies” (in the premier A Group of the rating: 1 – 100 position), “Physics and Astronomy” and “Mathematics and Mechanics” (in D Group: 501 - 750 position).

The experts analyze the national and international experience of quality evaluation in professional education made by the institutions. Based on the data pool acquired from both the analysis and open statistics, using the mathematical tools the members of the Expert Guild and National Foundation for Education Innovations Support prepare analytical data for making strategic decisions in education quality management.

For your reference: The new aggregator integrated all the information about the current systems of higher education (international and national ratings, testing systems, academic achievement by students, accreditation of universities and their educational programs). The analysis operates the data of 10 major ratings.
