NRU BelSU is strengthening cooperation with Yakovlevsky Mining and Processing Plant (GOK)

The delegation of NRU BelSU headed by the rector Oleg Polukhin paid an official visit to Severstal enterprise – Korpanga LLC (Yakovlevsky GOK). The university delegation was shown around the enterprise infrastructure and acquainted with the production facilities. The negotiations, attended by the General Director of Korpanga LLC Denis Golubnichy the participants covered the collaboration between the university and an industrial enterprise The parties discussed the roadmap of activities for 2021 that assume to increase the number of educational programs that meet the needs of industrial partners, extend the material and technical base of the Institute of Geosciences to train specialists with the relevant qualifications. In particular, it is planned to establish a regional interactive training center "Shakhta" providing for the practice-oriented training of mining engineers. At the end of the meeting Oleg Polukhin and Denis Golubnichy formalized cooperation by signing a roadmap for implementation of joint activities in 2021.
