BelSU scientist – a laureate of the prestigious award

This year the scientists awarding ceremony for achievements in research, development and manufacturing application in science and technology was combined with the opening ceremony of Year of Science and Technology in Belgorod region. It was attended by the members of government, legislative assembly and scientific community of the region. The guests ceremony participants were greeted by the Acting Governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Eight scientists were awarded on Russian Science Day. Among the awardees – Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Vasily Zakhvalinsky, Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, BelSU Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies, Head of the Laboratory of Photonics and Terahertz Electronics Materials. The scientist became a laureate of the top award in the nomination “Innovations in Bioengineering and Nanotechnology”.

Vasily Zakhvalinsky presented to the jury the innovative material for solar panels which is affordable and environmentally friendly. The scientist received the award from the hands of the Senator of Russian Federation, the representative of the legislative authority of Belgorod region Yevgeny Savchenko.
