BelSU Center for Intercultural Communication became the venue of an international youth round table “Science in Student Community: Achievements and Prospects”
The event was organized by the Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations and the Preparatory Faculty of Belgorod State University. The round table meeting was also held via videoconferencing on Zoom platform. The meeting brought together not only BelSU international students, but also graduates of Preparatory Faculty of different years who connected their professional activities with science and teaching.
The participants were greeted by Olga Dekhnich, Deputy Director for Research, Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations, Elena Nazarenko, Deputy Head of Preparatory Faculty, and Olga Lyutova, Director of the Center for Intercultural Communication, who wished everyone fruitful work.
Great interest of the students was caused by the speech of the Professor of UDLA University and Diplomatic Academy of Ecuador Ibarra Chan Pablo, the specialist in greenhouse management of BelSU Botanical Garden, the instructor of the Department of Nature Management and Land Cadastre of the Institute of Geosciences Morabandza Kumu Buia from the Republic of Congo and the instructor of BelSU Philosophy and Theology Division Vojislav Stoyanovic from Serbia.
Reports were presented by graduate students, undergraduates and the residential students. At the end of the round table the participants exchanged views and the organizers suggested making such events traditional.
