An educational platform for young scientists will be launched at BelSU

The Winter School for Prospective Doctoral Students is an annual platform for young scientists organized by Belgorod State University. For two years of the project implementation over six hundred people have become its participants: students, undergraduates, young scientists from BelSU, universities in other regions, countries of near and far abroad. The school covers nine directions which correspond to the fields of study at BelSU institutes.

As Irina Shumakova, the Head of Department for Education and Attestation of Research and Academic Staff noted, the Winter School will be held under the auspices of the Year of Science and Technology, and its topics will be related to addressing the objectives of the national project “Science”.

During the classes the school participants will get acquainted with educational programs, leading scientists of the university, participate in experiments, discuss creative and scientific ideas with lecturers and invited experts. Each participant of the school will be able to design an individual research path “Master Degree - Doctoral Study - Thesis Council”. Everyone will have an opportunity to plunge into the scientific atmosphere, as well as communicate with professors also in a foreign language.
