Reputable experts discuss the priority areas of the university’s development in the field of science and innovation
Four expert teams were formed in accordance with the university’s strategic priorities and one group consisting of young scientists, doctoral students and graduate students whose task is to generate an “image of the future university” (foresight group). According to Andrey Peresypkin, the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, the strategic session activities should focus on the university’s development in major research areas – physics, genetic technologies, bioresources and ecosystems for sustainable development of society, as well as socio-territorial development.
The participants of the strategic session will identify key priority projects to cover the main directions of the university's performance (education, science, innovation, social and educational work) and investigate “cross-cutting” areas (in particular IT) to ensure interdisciplinary approach in science and education, the possibility of data-driven processes, as well as introduction of new forms of collaboration with key partners.
