Modern dormitory for BelSU students

Two ten-story buildings are planned to be built at the university campus on Studencheskaya Street in Belgorod by 2023. Over 383 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for the construction that will begin in May this year.

252 students will be hosted on the area of ​​over 7000 square meters. 85 apartments will be equipped, including adapted housing for students with disabilities. Inside the campus there will be sections with living rooms, kitchens, lavatories, bathrooms, classrooms, work rooms for staff and student groups.

The construction of the new dormitories at BelSU is largely due to the increase in the number of foreign students (over seven years their number has increased threefold) and development of Master's and Doctoral programs at the university in recent years.

“It is important that they will be of an apartment type what is convenient for undergraduates and graduate students who are considered to be intellectual potential for our science and implementation of projects of the REC “Innovative Solutions in Agri-Business”, said the rector Oleg Polukhin.
