Doctoral thesis defended at BelSU

The PhD thesis of Aleksey Nifanov, the Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of BelSU Law Institute on the topic “Territory of the Russian Federation: Constitutional and Legal Theory” was supervised by the academic advisor Doctor of Law, Professor Marina Markhheim.

As Alexei Nifanov noted, the work was the result of a comprehensive analysis and generalization of theoretical and practical material in the field of public relations that emerge in the public-territorial organization of the Russian Federation, taking into account domestic historical and foreign background.

The Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Director of BelSU Law Institute of Andrei Gabov praised the PhD thesis, noting the relevance of the work. Based on the results of the defense held, the Dissertation Board made a unanimous decision to award Alexei Nifanov the academic degree of Doctor of Law.
