BelSU has become a platform for discussing topical issues of cardiology

The congress was held at Medical Institute via videoconferencing. The scientific event brought together healthcare professionals of the Russian Federation engaged in research, teaching and practical activities in the field of cardiology and related fields, as well as specialists involved in development of new medical equipment and medicines. In his welcome speech BelSU Rector Oleg Polukhin wished fruitful work to the participants and noted the dynamic development of Medical Institute.

“Today, Medical Institute ensure training of specialists from the undergraduate level to the highly qualified personnel,” Oleg Polukhin emphasized. Nikolay Belousov, Director of Medical Institute, noted the high educational, medical and social significance of the congress by Russian Cardiology Society. Nina Zhernakova, Deputy Director for Scientific Work of Medical Institute, paid the attention of to the fact that the congress would become an impetus for the medical science development in Belgorod region and contribute to the national healthcare progress.
