BelSU innovative projects are at the top of the list

The Directorate of Innovation Promotion Fund approved the list of the projects which were allotted financing under the UMNIK program. 37 young scientists from the leading universities of the Belgorod region became the awardees of the UMNIK program, as well as the UMNIK-NTI and UMNIK-Technocrat competitive selections.

Among the winners are eighteen BelSU representatives – Nikita Bosenko, Dmitry Veselov, Elizaveta Grechishkina, Veronika Zhukova, Dilara Mamedova, Konstantin Osipov, Yulia Pavlova, Vladimir Pokrovsky, Yana Popova, Alexandra Radchenko, Yaroslav Salasina, Vladislav Senchenkov, Denis Sopin, Alexey Ustinov, Vyacheslav Fedorov, Denis Kholodov, Ekaterina Shchetinina and Diana Yuzbekova.

42 applications were reviewed at the intramural selection, 32 projects in the fields of information technology, medicine, development of modern materials, technologies, devices and resource-saving energy reached the final. Students, graduate students, young specialists, researchers aimed to convince the expert jury not only of the scientific novelty of the idea, but also of the prospects of its commercialization, attractiveness for partners and investors.
