BelSU developing scientific cooperation with the University of Florence

The conference was held bringing together the participants from BelSU and the University of Florence. Belgorod State University was representedин the Head of BelSU Project Management Center of REC “Innovative Solutions in Agri-Business” Aleksey Khmyrov and Associate Professor of the Department of Innovations and Robotic Systems Vyacheslav Fedorov. From the Italian side, Mr. Paolo Coppi (Paolo Coppi Studio) and the representative of the University of Florence took part in the dialogue.

During the videoconference issues of collaboration between scientific teams of both universities in two promising areas under the World-Class Scientific and Educational Center “Innovative solutions in Agri-Business” Program were discussed. Vyacheslav Fedorov presented the results of the study aimed at monitoring the condition and maintenance of farm animals and livestock management.

The Italian partners noted that they conduct similar studies which could become a point of contact in the scientific cooperation. They also showed interest in joint implementation of the project “Development of Geographic Information System for Design and Implementation of Adaptive Landscape Farming Systems in Belgorod Region” which was presented by Alexey Khmyrov.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to work out in more detail the possibility of cooperation in the promising scientific areas which are in the priority for partner universities.
