The results of the National Aggregate Universities Ranking were announced by the Aggregator for Independent Evaluation of Higher Education on the eve of the admissions campaign launch
The Premier League of the National Aggregate Universities Rating -2021 included 38 universities out of 687 evaluated. While maintaining its position among the top Russian universities, BelSU has improved its performance by rising from the 21st place in 2019 to 14th in 2021.
The national aggregate rating is compiled on the basis of 8 private ratings: the National University Ranking – Interfax, the First Mission Ranking, the RAEX University Ranking, the Hirsch Index of Universities, the ranking according to the Performance Monitoring data, the Education Quality Assessment ranking, the ranking according to the results of professional public accreditation and “International recognition” rating.
According to the rating results (from the highest “A” score - to the lowest “E” score), all participants were assigned to one of 10 leagues: the Premier League and 9 other leagues. The first positions were occupied by the universities that received the highest “A” score for all eight indicators, followed by educational institutions with one “B” score.
BelSU has the highest “A” score based on the results of six ratings, having improved the score in two ratings at a row “First Mission” (in 2019 it was “C” score) and “Education Quality Assessment” (in 2019 it was “B” score). Belgorod State University received “B” score based on the results of two ratings, with one of the results (according to RAEX) improved from “C” to “B”.
