BelSU innovative programs were recognized by Hanseatic League Ranking

For the first time the rating of innovative universities (World Universities with Real Impact - WURI) was formed at the end of 2019 by members of New Hanseatic League including Belgorod State University, founded in 2018.

Last year BelSU was rated as a key participant in REC “Innovative Solutions in Agri-Business” and occupied 82^nd place in the rating. This year experts assessed the university by two projects: participation in the world-class REC “Innovative Solutions in Agri-Business” and development of volunteer movement in the context of COVID-19. Both projects received worthy results: the REC project took 20^th place in the rating due to Industrial Application, and the project for development of volunteer movement “Hot Hearts” became the fifth in the new category Crisis Management.

Like last year BelSU was the only Russian participant in the rating, while the geography of the rating has significantly expanded: 33 universities from North America, 33 universities from Asia, 25 universities in Europe, 7 universities from Oceania and one university each from South America and Africa entered the top-100 ranking.
