The famous athlete Fedor Emelianenko completed his doctoral studies at Belgorod State University

The defense of the final qualifying work took place on July 1. According to Professor Viktor Kondakov, the scientific advisor of Fedor Emelianenko, the thesis topic was proposed by the athlete and is focused on spiritual and moral determinants in the training system of mixed style combatants. Viktor Kondakov noted that in the course of the work, the author identified and substantiated the criteria and indicators of developing spiritual and moral qualities of a person in the training system.

The final qualifying work specifies pedagogical conditions underlying the effectiveness of spiritual and moral qualities development of a person in mixed martial arts training. As an extra result the development and scientific substantiation of the structural and functional model of spiritual and moral qualities of a combatant personality was proposed.
