For the fifth time Belgorod State University entered the TOP-20 universities of the national rating “Interfax”

Belgorod State University, having improved its position in the total number of points (from 557 to 564), moved up in the rating, taking 19^th place in the all-Russian university ranking. The three leaders over the past four years traditionally include M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, National Research Nuclear University “MEPHI” and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. The Far Eastern Federal University closes the TOP-20.

“This year, many federal and regional universities have increased their competitiveness also through accelerated digitalization of educational and strengthening competencies related to new technologies and innovative solutions,” said Alexey Gorshkov, the Executive Director of Interfax agency.

According to the experts, the rating includes all high-profile universities in the country, including 29 national research universities, 10 federal, 33 basic universities, as well as 21 universities that participated in Project 5-100. Traditionally, such parameters as educational and research activities, social environment, international and interregional cooperation, brand as well as innovation and technological entrepreneurship were assessed.
