BelSU is an award winner of the 5th regional book festival “Belogorie”

The regional book festival traditionally took place at the Belgorod State Universal Scientific Library, where the authors and publishing houses from other regions participated as well.

Konstantin Kurgansky, Head of Department of culture of the Belgorod region, greeted all the participants and guests on behalf of Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of Belgorod Region. He also mentioned that library system of the region is one of the best in our country.

According to Nadezhda Rozhkova, Director of the Belgorod State Universal Scientific Library, this festival was notable for its impressive program, compared to previous ones. This included meetings with writers, contests, and stage performances.

Within the festival, the regional competition winners were awarded in 11 categories, whereas 4 of them had been established this year.

The festival participants enjoyed theatrical performance by Belgorod State Institute of Arts and Culture students and folk tunes performed by folk art group.
