The III International Research and Training Conference "Energy Law: Models and Development Trends" started its work at BelSU. Among the participants there are leading lawyers from Russia, Serbia and Bulgaria
The work of the conference consists of two directions – current state and development of energy law.
The conference was organized by the representatives of BelSU Institute of Law, the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, The St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria) and the branch of PJSC ROSSETI – Belgorodenergo.
Professor Oleg Polukhin, BelSU rector addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He stressed that the conference was intended to continue the discussion and search for solutions to the problems facing energy law in Russia and other countries.
The plenary session was opened by Yevgeny Tonkov, D.Sc. (Law), Director of BelSU Institute of Law who made a report on legal regulation in the fuel and energy complex.
The subject was further developed in the report of Anton Semeikin, Director of the Department of Economic Security in the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Ministry of Energy.
Leading experts in the field of energy law, representatives of energy companies and other educational and specialized structures and departments will make reports at the conference.
The conference will last two days. During this time, researchers and power engineers will discuss issues of energy legislation.
