According to the results of the subject ratings of international rating agency Times Higher Education (THE), BelSU maintained its presence in two ratings: Engineering (501-600 group) and Physical Sciences (1001+ group)
This year, Physical sciences rating increased by 78 participants, reaching 1227 universities, and the list of participating universities in Engineering increased by 90 universities and amounted to 1188 universities. This dynamic proves the ever-increasing competition among higher educational institutions participating in subject rankings.
The Russian segment of both subject rankings also expanded: in Engineering – by 8 universities (50 universities in total), in Physical Sciences – by 6 universities (48 participants in total). Among Russian universities, BelSU entered the group 8-13 in Engineering and the group 32-48 in Physical Sciences.
The world leadership in both subject rankings is traditionally held by American universities.
