Achievements of BelSU Education Quality Management System presented at the All-Russian Conference

The top quality management representatives of the leading higher education institutions shared their best practices at the panel session “Quality Development in Education through Business Excellence Model”. The meeting moderator Zhanna Pampura, the Interfax Development Director, invited the participants to discuss the best practices that primarily influence the quality of educational services.

While making their presentations, the speakers agreed that the key actor in a higher education institution is a student, so absolutely all processes and innovations should be based on the principle of response to bilateral expectations. In particular, Oleg Polukhin said that the university should meet both the educational quality demands of the applicants (in liaison with their parents) and those of the potential employers.

The Rector also identified introduction of project management tools and lean management as an important factors in the effective and efficient quality management system at Belgorod State University. At the same time, like most of the speakers, he noted that the process of quality system development is sustainable.

The session was concluded by the presentation by the member of the Expert Council of the Russian Government Quality Prize competition – the Head of the Department of Merchandising at Rostov State University of Economics (RINH), Professor Karina Mekhantseva.
