Young researchers and doctoral students from Belgorod State University will take part in the Young Scientists Congress

The scientific event will take place on 8-10 December in Sochi Sirius Park for Science and Arts. Belgorod State University will be represented by Roman Mishnev, a researcher of the Laboratory of Mechanical Properties of Nanostructured and Heat-Resistant Materials. Roman Mishnev’s scientific work is dedicated to production and study of thermotechnical steel having which is unique in the world. The doctoral students of the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies Alexander Kalinenko (specialized in Condensed State Physics) and Ivan Nikitin (specialized in Metal Science and Heat Treatment of Metals and Alloys) will also attend the congress.

As Roman Mishnev noted, such events enable to create a new scientific environment bringing together young people with progressive vision and breakthrough ideas.

The event programme will include five thematic tracks: Year of Science and Technology, Governance and Investment, Interaction and Cooperation, Infrastructure and Environment, Workforce and Human Capital. The Year of Science and Technology track will consist of 70 sessions and be split into stages according to the thematic months. Expert discussions will cover key topics in the field of novel medicine, advanced production technologies and materials, genetics and quality of life, space exploration, future energy, climate, ecology, and other areas.
