BelSU student is the finalist of the IT-Planet international competition

The “Jericho” team consisting of Vladislav Dubrova, a student of BelSU Medical Institute, Andrei Gladyshev and Yuri Goponov, the alumni of Belgorod State University and Sergei Sedov, a student of Belgorod Industrial College, became the winner of the XIII International Information Technology Competition “IT-Planet 2020/21”.

Over 400 students and young graduates from 160 educational institutions in Russia and the CIS countries who demonstrated best results in the qualifying rounds participated in the competition finals via videoconferencing. The experts evaluated the submitted projects in terms of the degree of their development and challenge problem, relevance, innovation and feasibility.

The project of the young scientists from Belgorod aimed at developing a hardware and software system for hand rehabilitation was recognized as the best in the “Rehabilitation” category in the “Unlimited Opportunities” competition, which focuses on innovative projects to improve life quality of people with disabilities.
