Candidates nominated for the study in Russian educational institutions in the academic year 2022-2023 within the quota allocated by the Russian Government interviewed in the capitals
The representatives of 30 Russian universities conducted interviews of candidates for Master degree, residency, doctoral studies and Bachelor programs MGIMO Branch in Tashkent, as well as in Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University in Dushanbe. BelSU was represented by Dmitry Srybny, the Director of Education Export Centre, and Tatiana Shenshina, Head of Department for Vocational Guidance and Work with Regions.
This year 750 quota places have been allocated for the citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to study in Russia, which is almost twice as many as last year. Rossotrudnichestvo Office in Uzbekistan noted the high interest of Uzbek students in Russian education in general and in the regional universities providing the appropriate level of education and affordable accommodation and leisure facilities for students, in particular.
The events were organised by the staff of the Russian House in Tashkent and Dushanbe. The expert commissions consisted of the representatives of Russian universities, ministries and relevant departments in Russia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
The candidates were invited to demonstrate their academic and creative achievements as well as their skills in the chosen fields of study. Applicants with high scores will receive a quota for studying at various Russian universities, including BelSU.
