Seven representatives of Belgorod State University became grant holders of the "UMNIK" regional competition by Innovation Promotion Fund
This year among the most popular innovative project submitted were those related to domestic technological market development and import substitution.
38 projects in all the competition nominations were presented by Belgorod State University in the finals of the "UMNIK" regional competition, seven of them were awarded half a million rubles grant. The financial support is aimed at conducting research under innovative projects that passed several examination stages and were supported by the Fund as advanced and having breakthrough scientific relevance.
Traditionally, the university’s young scientists demonstrated good performance at “Medicine and Health Saving Technologies” nomination.
Yuriy Vlasenko (from the Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology) competing with his project on “Development of Technology for Microclonal Propagation of potatoes and Healthy Planting Material Acquisition” and Artem Goliusov (from Medical Institute) with his project “Development of Tissue Ring for Biomaterial Collection” were the best in “Biotechnology” nomination.
Mikhail Sevrukov's project on “Hardware and Software System for Water Bodies Analysis and Purification” received the grant in the “New Devices and Intelligent Manufacturing Technologies” nomination.
The "UMNIK" jury also marked the project on “Development of Programming Library for Specified Quality Communication via Ad Hoc Network” by Elizaveta Kiseleva (from the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies).
