Belgorod Dialogue 2022 Youth Science Forum opened at Belgorod State University

The Youth Scientific Forum “Belgorod Dialogue 2022: Issues of History and Philology” is a traditional event held in cooperation with the civil society movement “Young Scientists Community” and the regional branch of Russian History Society headed by Professor Oleg Polukhin, Rector of Belgorod State University.

This year the four-day forum will consist of 27 sections to discuss issues of history, philology and records management. Students, doctoral students, young scientists, representatives of schools and vocational schools from Russian regions, Belarus and Kazakhstan will present the results of their work.

The presentations on the historical topics will cover the period from antiquity to the present day. Philologists will also raise questions on the system, functioning and teaching of Russian language, linguistic and cultural studies, problems and poetics of Russian classical and world literature, etc.

During the plenary session the participants were welcomed by Professor Ivan Shatokhin, Deputy Director for Research and International Activities of Pedagogical Institute, and the heads of divisions of the Department of History and Philology – Associate Professor Marina Sergienko, Associate Professor Elena Litchenko, Professor Irina Chumak-Zhun.

It is planned to publish a collection of scientific articles based on the results of the event.
