The Deputy Head of the Centre for Extremism Counteraction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Belgorod region told the curators of foreign student communities and international students of Belgorod State University about extremist crimes counteraction.
BelSU Centre of Intercultural Communication became the venue for a meeting of international students with Alexander Selyutin, a police lieutenant colonel and the Head of the Centre for Extremism Counteraction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Belgorod region. The representative of the law enforcement bodies told about the Centre activity aimed at extremism counteraction and its structure, shared his opinion about the perspectives of the state policy and legislation development for extremist and terrorist crimes prevention.
According to Alexander Selyutin, the interaction between law enforcement bodies and citizens plays an important role in prevention and counteraction of extremist and terrorist crimes.
Alexander Selyutin noted a significant role of the university in personal development and personal growth of students as well as extremist and terrorist crimes prevention. The meeting was finalized with answering students’ questions.
Similar meetings were held in all the institutes and colleges of Belgorod State University.
