Belgorod State University confirmed the compliance of its management system with the ISO 9001:2015 international standard.
The Certification Association “Russian Register” conducted a surveillance audit of the quality management system (QMS) at Belgorod State University. The audit was aimed to confirm the compliance of the university's QMS with the international standard ISO 9001:2015.
The audit was conducted at six educational structural divisions and the university’s multi-service centre. It consisted in checking documentation, interviewing employees, study and analysis of the official documents posted on the university’s website.
Yuri Bragin, the chief auditor of the Certification Association, noted the high expertise and interest of the staff in achieving the university’s strategic goals to ensure the quality of education. As a result of the audit the university’s quality management system has been approved in the aspects concerning planning, development and implementation of educational activities in secondary and higher education, further education, vocational training in accordance with the field of licensing and state accreditation, as well as research and innovation activities.
In his turn Vladimir Shapovalov, the Vice-Rector for Quality and Further Education of BelSU, noted that the university’s quality policy had been focused on implementing BelSU Development Programme for 2021-2030 and ensuring the leading position of Belgorod State University in the global educational space.
