Belgorod State University ranked among Top-20 universities that provide education for managers

The Interfax Information Group providing an independent evaluation of Russian universities and their educational programs since 2010 has announced higher educational institutions ranking in “Public and Municipal Administration” (SMM). Belgorod State University has occupied the 20^th position among the Top-20 universities by the Interfax ranking.

50 universities that meet a number of requirements for educational programmes accreditation and thematic publications were selected to participate in the evaluation. The universities were evaluated by the following indicators: the number of implemented programmes in “Public and Municipal Administration” and their accreditation, the number of publications of the university’s academic staff in international journals and VAK journals, the average citation index of the authors of thematic publications, the share of the honour diploma holders in the total number of SMM programmes graduates, the number of the winners and prize-winners of the I-Exam Open International Student Internet Competition.

The rating results will allow to analyse the university’s position among other educational institutions in Russia, to identify the prospects of the field development, to enhance the scientific activities.
