The IV International Symposium Innovations in Life Sciences held at Belgorod State University

The IV International Symposium Innovations in Life Sciences, which is held in mixed format this year takes, brought together over 200 researchers – the representatives of both Russian and foreign partner universities of Belgorod State University from abroad. The organizers, along with Belgorod State University, were Dezhou University and Karshi State University.

Alexander Mamatov, the Vice-Rector for Education, addressed the plenary session participants on behalf of the Rector of Belgorod State University, Professor Oleg Polukhin. He noted the fact that the symposium was initially focused on the fundamental and applied scientific tasks related the World-Class Scientific and Educational Centre “Innovative Solutions in Agri-Business”, since our university acts as the integrator and coordinator of this Centre.

The main fields focused by the symposium were focused on biological sciences and modern technological solutions, technologies in biodiversity research and plant introduction, new microbiological technologies as well as innovative technologies in the chemical-pharmaceutical cluster and the food industry.
