The scientists from the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies presented their development at the ATiC 2022 All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference.
A team of scientists from BelSU Institute of Engineering and Digital Technology developed a new high-accuracy mathematical tool to determine objects position via GPS / GLONASS. It is based on differential corrections that take into account the signal delay of satellite systems passing through the ionosphere and troposphere.
Valentina Levchenko, a doctoral student at the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technology, refers the relevance of the novel method to the fact that special focus is currently made on improving the accuracy of measurements carried out via global satellite systems, including GPS.
The corrections application will enable to measure any object location with high accuracy, to the nearest millimetre.
On 6th July BelSU researchers presented the results of their work at the All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference “4.0 Industry in Russia: Technologies, Materials, Implementation Experience” (ATiC 2022), which was organised by the Association for Research Support jointly with major technical universities, in partnership with GK “HALTEK” (Ulyanovsk, Russia) and Ulyanovsk Machine Tool Plant LLC, also involving international participants.
