The Ministry of Education and Science discussed the prospects for implementing the “Prioritet-2030” Program, which can be adjusted to the new realities.
The conference of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, involving the representatives of universities implementing the “Prioritet-2030” Program, covered the issues of strategic projects and performance indicators amendment.
Valeriy Falkov, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, noted that currently the Ministry and higher education institutions are facing the task to review the “Prioritet-2030” Program due to the up-to-date challenges. Valeriy Falkov paid attention to the necessity of the program amendment that should result in developing technologies and services demanded by the modern market.
According to BelSU Rector, Professor Oleg Polukhin, 57 projects have been already implemented at our university under the “Prioritet-2030” Program, some of them started in 2021. So far, five consortia have been established, another two are underway.
“An important task of the university was to ensure the program launch in the format of three strategic projects. Successfully carried out institutional transformations enabled the university to change its management system, meeting new demands and challenges. Our efforts in the context of the “Prioritet-2030” Program are aimed at active involvement in scientific and technological breakthrough of Belgorod region and improving the quality of life of its citizens,” the Rector stressed.
At the moment, the Ministry of Education and Science, summing up the provisional results of the Program, initiated a survey among students and teaching staff participating in the “Prioritet-2030” projects. Other representatives of Belgorod State University have been also invited to fill in the survey.
