Project office specialists of the BelSU Rector Office implemented an intensive program for employees of the Southwest State University. They were trained on the basics of project management. The intensive training was implemented under Priority-2030 program.
The students of the intensive training are employees of the Southwest State University. They are in charge of the university's activities: robotics, electric power industry, nanotechnology and space instrumentation.
The tutors of the training are Svetlana Gaivoronskaya, the head of BelSU rector’s office project department, Alexander Gukov, the head of the department for monitoring and control of projects of the Priority 2030 program and Elena Shiyanova, the head of the department of methodology and development of the project management system. Within 10 days, they shared with colleagues from SWSU the methodology for initiating, “packaging” and implementing strategic projects, the features of managing the project portfolio of the Priority 2030 program, and the experience of developing a project management system at the university.
Upon completion of the course SWSU employees successfully defended their own projects on the creation of an international center for the development of communications and space technology, a regional center of competence in the field of energy, and the development of a network of nanotechnology laboratories. In the future, the projects will be implemented as part of the strategic academic leadership program of the university.
The advanced training program on the basics of project management of the Priority 2030 program was implemented as part of a cooperation agreement between BelSU and SWSU in the development of project management.
