A lecturer of Belgorod State University participated in the expert council conference dedicated to information policy aimed at terrorism and extremism manifestations prevention among young people.
Roman Travin, a senior lecturer of the Department of International Relations, Foreign Regional Studies and Political Science at Belgorod State University participated in the conference of the expert council on information policy aimed at terrorism and extremism manifestations prevention among young people which was held at Belgorod City Administration.
Among the participants there were the representatives of the city administration, law enforcement agencies, academic and youth policy institutions, experts.
Roman Travin made one of the main presentations on “Politics and Problem of Political Extremism Among Young People”.
As the lecturer noted, specialists working with young people tend to “take politics out of the picture”, believing that it is better to steer youth activity on another course in order to avoid additional conflicts. In his opinion, politics is one of the main areas of society, and it is possible to neglect it only for a while.
