The Youth Cultural Centre hosted the concert, finalizing the charitable humanitarian campaign to support the Syrian Arab Republic.
The representatives of Rector’s Office, lecturers and students gathered in the concert hall. At the beginning of the event the hosts reminded that on February 6, 2023 the biggest earthquake of the century occurred in Syria and Turkey. Russia, Belgorod region and Belgorod State University, accommodating the large diaspora of 106 students from the Syrian Arab Republic, did not stand aside and responded to the friendly nations. The audience watched a film in which the Syrians thanked everyone for helping their families.
While summing up the humanitarian campaign, Elena Tsukanova, the Acting Vice-Rector for Discipline and Youth Policy, and Vladislav Kuchmisty, the Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, thanked the charity providers for their involvement.
Elena Tsukunova passed on the words of support from Evgeniya Karlovskaya to the international students, the Acting Rector of Belgorod State University. Vladislav Kuchmisty noted that such actions and deeds symbolized kindness in abundance.
The dance groups and the leading singers of the university performed on the stage of the Youth Cultural Centre – “31 Region”, “Veresk” Art Studio, “Maridans”, “Kolorit”, Al Asaad Ravan, Dorshar Kenia and Musalima Ismailova. The performances were dedicated to kindness and mutual assistance. Traditionally, the concert was crowned with the anthem of Belgorod State University.
