23 student teams from Russia and Tajikistan participated in the VII “Youth Movement” Competition in different fields and nominations.
Traditionally, during the last week of May, International Law Institute (Moscow) hosted the “Youth Movement” creative competition. This year it was held in Zvenigorod (Moscow region).
The participants formed 23 student groups from different regions of Russia and Tajikistan, including BelSU “Pegas” team, which consisted of the students of Law Institute – Anna Bolgova, Ivan Rogiz, Anna Ilyushchenko, Igor Parkhomov, Ekaterina Zhigailova and Anton Sherkevich, a student of Pedagogical Institute.
Nikolay Zhiltsov, the Honorary Worker of Justice of Russia, the Rector of International Law Institute, welcomed the contestants. The competition programme consisted of two stages. The teams competed in different directions – dance, music, video, etc. Renowned figures of arts evaluated the works and performances of the students. Among them there were Svetlana Nepomnyashchaya, the honorary artist of the Russian Federation and an Associate Professor of GITIS, Lyubov Zolotovskaya, a teacher-choreographer and a former solo performer of the “Planet Rhythms” stage ballet and others.
The representatives of Belgorod State University won in the “Social Video” nomination of the “Video” direction, receiving the first degree diploma. According to the law student Anna Bolgova, participation in the VII “Young Movement” competition was a new experience for all the students, providing a unique opportunity to communicate with like-minded people and gain new knowledge.
