Evgeniya Karlovskaya, the Acting Rector of Belgorod State University and Kamal Rizaev, the Rector of Tashkent Institute of Pharmacy, signed an agreement on a joint educational programme in Pharmacy.
The agreement was signed in the context of the working visit to Uzbekistan, paid by a delegation of Belgorod State University, headed by Evgeniya Karlovskaya, the Acting Rector of BelSU, and Vladislav Kuchmisty, the Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Irina Zhirova, the Head of the Department of Management of Pharmaceutical Economics of BelSU Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology.
Belgorod State University and Tashkent Institute of Pharmacy agreed to launch a joint educational program in Pharmacy on 1st September, 2023. The lecturers of BelSU Institute of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology will conduct classes both on distance from Belgorod and on-site in Tashkent.
Upon completing the educational programme students will be receive a Bachelor Diploma of Tashkent Institute of Pharmacy and a BelSU Specialist Diploma. The significant advantage of this programme consists in the fact that BelSU Diploma will entitle students to apply for doctoral programmes without a Master degree.
266 students from Uzbekistan currently study at Belgorod State University, and over 100 of them reside in Belgorod.
During the visit Evgeniya Karlovskaya and Dilnoz Ruziyeva, the Ambassador of Belgorod State University to Uzbekistan, prolonged the agreement on the mission. It is worth reminding that the title of BelSU Ambassador to Uzbekistan was awarded to Dilnoz Ruziyeva, a 1991 graduate of the university, in 2021. Dilnoz Ruziyeva works as the Rector of Bukhara University of Innovations.
