Belgorod State University maintain a series of educational tours to Russian cities for international students, also during the summer holidays.
Tutors of Preparatory Department of Belgorod State University joined the international students for the tour to Voronezh. The rich program enabled the group to visit Voronezh Okeanarium, which is unique for the Black Earth region. Its scale and animals collection surprised the visitors. The young people got acquainted with the inhabitants of seas and oceans, polar waters, as well as jungles, forests and steppes.
The students also visited the International Forum "Voronezh Trade", where the products of local manufacturers were presented. The forum demonstrated the region’s specifics and variety of local cuisine. The international students tasted different types of honey, pies, meat products, lemonade and kvass.
In the afternoon the group moved to Lipetsk region, featuring the largest tourist site “Kudykina Gora”. It represents a 350-hectare park, hosting unique art objects, healing springs, a hospitality centre and a hotel complex, built in the new Russian style.
“Students walked around the territory of the park, fed animals at the farm, learnt about the main symbols and traditions of Russian fairy tales. Such trips help foreigners to get acquainted with the culture and diversity of traditions of Russia”, said Anastasia Petryaeva, a tutor of Preparatory Department.
