NRU “BelSU” and Azerbaijan State University of Economics develop cooperation

Within the working visit to Azerbaijan, the Rector of BelSU Evgeniya Karlovskaya and the Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics Professor Adalat Muradov signed a cooperation agreement implying joint scientific activities, development and implementation of educational programs with double degree, development of student and lecturer exchange.

The rector of the partner university told about its history and potential areas of cooperation with BelSU.

Evgeniya Karlovskaya also met with the teachers of UNEC Russian Economic School. It is worth noting that in 2018, the International Research Laboratory (IRL) for Spatial Economics was established on the basis of the Institute of Economics and Management of BelSU together with the Department of Economics of the Azerbaijan partner university. That led to a number of joint projects being organized and joint articles being published in scientific journals.

“In the last three years, the level of interaction has noticeably decreased, but I have seen my colleagues' interest in expanding cooperation. In particular, to study at the postgraduate school of BelSU and to defend dissertations in our dissertation councils. I explained that foreign applicants can enroll in our graduate school by registering on the portal “Education in Russia for Foreigners,”” – commented in her Telegram channel Evgenia Karlovskaya, expressing confidence that mutually beneficial cooperation with Russian Economic School will continue.

The Rector of BelSU also got acquainted with other structural divisions of the partner university.
