1,523 graduates from all degrees and majors received academic honours diplomas, which is 95 more than previous year.
This year, total 5,932 seniors became the newest BelSU alumni of bachelor, specialist, master, residency training, postgraduate and secondary vocational programmes. However, this year’s graduation ceremonies were organised without grand events or concerts. Less decorated, the university commencements were especially joyous and cosy. Graduates of the preparatory department brought a touch of ethnic flavour to the ceremony and marked the occasion with a lively dance performance. The Law Institute graduates made a heartfelt address to the teachers who had prepared them for the beginning of successful careers. The heads of institutes, faculties, and departments arrived to greet the graduates, wishing them success in their professional path.
According to the university’s tradition, BelSU partner companies and enterprises also took part in the graduation ceremonies. Prospective employers encouraged the new alumni to cooperate and assured them of both support at the workplace and rewarding experience. It is worth noting that many students had already received their job offers by graduation. Now they will start to perform their duties as qualified professionals.
BelSU Rector Evgeniya Karlovskaya congratulated young specialists on completing their studies, drawing attention to the fact that this year’s graduates had to study in very difficult conditions that required discipline and responsibility.
‘The knowledge and experience you gained will help you make a successful career. We are happy to see those who continue their education on the next levels of education, undergo professional retraining and receive additional education with us. I invite everyone to join the BelSU Alumni Association and become mentors for new students,’ said Evgeniya Karlovskaya.<< Назад к списку |
