Last weekend, the regional equestrian competition Voronezh Region Cup in Show Jumping – Stage of Maxima Park Cup was held at the Voronezh equestrian club Yamenskaya Usadba. 7 students from the BelSU Equestrian School competed for the Cup together with more than 40 athletes from the Voronezh and Tambov regions.

In the most difficult 110 cm category, Maria Kosareva, riding on Perspectiva, triumphantly took the first prize, followed by Juliya Filippenko mounted on Horovod (2nd).

In the Beginner pairs category, Maria Kornylieva, riding on Norton, won the silver medal on the two phases run without interruption with 80 cm obstacles, and Olga Gladkova on Perspektiva took the bronze on the same run. Maria also showed her mastery in the 90cm category and took the second prize.

Andrey Glebov, riding on Horovod, bagged two silver medals on the 100 cm courses.

According to Tatyana Sokolova, a show jumping coach from the BelSU Equestrian School, although the current situation challenges the possibility of the full training processes, not only do the BelSU equestrian athletes confirm their skills but also manage to keep on achieving higher and higher results.
