A recent competition showcased the talents of teachers and students from therapeutic departments across universities that offer Therapy as a primary professional program.
Diana Balinyan, a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Intermediate Level Therapy at BelSU, was awarded first place in the 4th All-Russian Competition of Pedagogical Ideas for Therapy Educators in 2024. Her project, titled “Unified Lesson of First Aid in Emergency Care for Future General Practitioners in a Border Region,” was recognized as the best among numerous submissions.
The competition aims to inspire creative efforts among educators to enhance the content of professional education programs for general practitioners. It promotes the implementation of innovative teaching methods and technologies while also focusing on the professional development of teaching staff and identifying promising areas for scientific and methodological research.
In addition to her academic achievements, Diana works as an ambulance doctor, dedicating her time and expertise to her passion for medicine. Despite her demanding schedule, she successfully balances her responsibilities as a postgraduate student, leading classes for students, and helping them build a solid foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge.
“Learning to be a doctor means learning to be a human. For a true doctor, medicine is more than just a profession – it is a way of life,” Diana shared.
