BelSU Student Wins All-Russian Competition "Hospitable Russia: 21st Century"

The results of the All-Russian competition for student projects, "Hospitable Russia: 21st Century," have been announced. The event brought together 124 students from 15 regions of Russia, along with participants from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

In the category of "Thematic Visit to the City/Region/Territory," Yana Laktionova, a second-year student at the Institute of Economics and Management of Belgorod National Research University, took home the top prize.

According to Yana, the "BelGorodovich" online service, powered by a chatbot, will allow tourists not only to participate in excursions and quests throughout the Belgorod region but also to propose their own ideas for activities and even take on the role of organizers.

"The project is set to launch in September 2025, as we need time to develop the portal and establish the excursion routes," Yana explained.
