BelSU Makes Financial Literacy Accessible to All Students

This engaging event was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person attendees and online participants to actively engage in discussions and enhance their knowledge. The primary goal of the master class was to improve financial literacy among students, equipping them with the skills needed to safeguard their savings against potential fraud. Participants explored effective personal budget management through practical examples, fostering a deeper understanding of financial principles.

Natalia Bykanova, the acting Head of the Department of Innovative Economics and Finance and a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Finance and Budget Policy of the Belgorod Region, highlighted the significance of such initiatives. She emphasized that financial literacy not only boosts self-esteem and confidence but is also crucial for effective household management. Making informed financial decisions can lead to better budgeting and appropriate allocation of resources for essential needs.
